2010 Bank of Scotland Primary Sportshall Challenge Finals (134)

The 2010 Bank of Scotland Primary Sportshall Challenge National Final was once again held at Bells Sports Centre in Perth. In a culmination to the biggest Sportshall Challenge yet, which saw over 2000 children from all over Scotland participate, West End Primary from Moray successfully defended their title with 2007 and 2008 champions Battlefield Primary from Glasgow runners up for the second year in a row. U11 Bank of Scotland National Junior Championships (117)

The new Under 11 Bank of Scotland National Champions were crowned at the weekend as over 60 of the top young badminton players in Scotland descended on the National Badminton Academy in Scotstoun to contest the championships. View the pictures here

Bank of Scotland National Junior Championships U13/17/23 (124)

The Bank of Scotland National Junior Championships U13/17/23 took place over the weekend of 24 and 25 April at Meadowbank Sports Centre. After a pulsating weekend of badminton the new National Junior Champions were crowned. See pictures of the action here

4 Nations Disabled Badminton Championships (166)

The Scottish leg of the 4 Nations Disabled Badminton Championships was held from 19-21 February at Scotstoun International Sports Arena. See pictures of the action and the presentations here

European Men's and Women's team Championships (2)

2010 Yonex Scottish National Championships (73)

Once again, finals day at the Yonex Scottish National Championships produced some mouth watering action as the champions for 2010 were crowned. View pictures of the day here.

2009 Bank of Scotland International Championships (153)

For the third year running, the Bank of Scotland International Championships produced a Scottish Champion, with Susan Egelstaff ending her long wait for glory on home soil as she lifted the Ladies Singles trophy in front of a packed Kelvin Hall crowd. There were also other great Scottish performances as Emma Mason reached the final of the Ladies Doubles, and Jillie Cooper reached the semi final of the Ladies Doubles and the quarters of the Mixed. 2009 Bank of Scotland Primary Sportshall Challenge Finals (9)

The 2009 Bank of Scotland Primary Sportshall Challenge saw West End Primary from Moray dethrone reigning champions Battlefield Primary. Pictures of the schools involved can be viewed here

2009 Sudirman Cup (11)

At the 2009 Sudirman Cup in Beijing, a depleted Scotland squad finished in a very creditable 21st position, maintaining their Group 3 status. See pictures of the Scotland players in action here

Bank of Scotland U11 Nationals (60)

The final National age group championships of the 2008/2009 season was played out over the weekend as more than 70 of the most talented youngsters in Scotland gathered at Scotstoun to compete for honours at the Bank of Scotland U11 National Championships. See pictures of the action here

The annual Bank of Scotland U15/19 National Junior Championships took place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October. 150 of Scotlands most promising juniors descended on Meadowbank for the weekend to compete in the tournament. See the pictures here.

Bank of Scotland Play Badminton Carnivals 2008/2009 (23)

The Bank of Scotland Play Badminton Carnivals are now in full swing for the new season. They have already visited various areas across Scotland, including East Lothian, Fife, the Borders and Aberdeenshire. See pictures of some of the schools who have taken part here

European Championships (10)

There was Scottish success in the European Championships in Herning, Denmark, with Scotland finishing 9th and matching their performance of two years ago in the team event. There were also some excellent performances in the individual events, as Imogen Bankier and Robert Blair and Watson Briggs and Jillie Cooper made the quarter finals in the mixed doubles, while Bankier and Rita Yuan Gao also reached the quarter finals in the womens doubles. Bank of Scotland National Junior Championships U11 (52)

The 4th annual Bank of Scotland U11 National Championships took place on Saturday 17 May. Over 70 youngsters, from as far afield as Inverness in the north and Bournemouth in the south,competed in the what turned out to be a fantastic event. See pictures of the action here

Inaugural Bank of Scotland Disability Carnival (21)

Following on from the hugely popular Bank of Scotland Carnivals and Roadshows, the first ever Bank of Scotland Disability Carnival took place at the National Badminton Academy at Scotstoun Leisure Centre on Thursday 15 May. Children attended from secondary and special education schools from across the Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire and Glasgow regions - view pictures here

Bank of Scotland U15 Home Countries Quadrangular (30)

Scotland narrowly missed out on winning the team event at the Bank of Scotland U15 Home Countries Quadrangular, as they were just pipped to the post by England. But there was success in the individual events. First Kirsty McGlynn and Kirsty Gilmour finished as runners-up in the girls doubles, before Gilmour went one better in the girls singles, beating Ireland's Ruth Roddis in the final.
