Undernoted are the benefits for affiliating your club to the Scottish Badminton Union. These are not in any particular order as each club has different views on which may benefit them most.

• 4 Copies per annum of the SBU's magazine "Scottish Badminton"
• The services of a qualified coach, free for the first two visits per annum
• Low rates for club insurance
• Complimentary tickets to the Scottish International Badminton Championships held annually
• Coaching for juniors at above tournament by leading coaches and top European players
• Advice on running tournaments etc
• Free copy of the Scottish Badminton Union Programme of Events booklet detailing all sanctioned tournaments, including school tournaments for the whole season
• Entitlement to play in sanctioned tournaments
• Entitlement to play in sanctioned leagues
• Top juniors in your club could be invited to District/Group coaching squads

If all who play badminton in Scotland were affiliated the resources available to develop the game would be so much greater and of course affiliation fees could as a result come down from their present level.
