BADMINTONscotland is delighted to announce the launch of ‘Watched It? Loved It? Play It?’ pay-and-play badminton sessions in East Kilbride, through partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.
Following the success of the London Olympics and the Scottish International Badminton Championships in 2012, the programme aims to make use of down-time at leisure facilities and encourage local residents to get active through participating in the world’s fastest racket sport.
Individuals who sign up to the pay-and-play session, have the opportunity to register for a year with BADMINTONscotland for a small administration fee of £10 and will receive Yonex Mavis 300 shuttles, a branded t-shirt, tickets to Scotland’s biggest badminton events and many other benefits
The programme was launched successfully in Bellahouston, Musselburgh, Hamilton and Inverclyde during 2012, and now moves to East Kilbride for the first time running for an initial six weeks. Information on sessions beginning in February is provided below.
