Book now for 26th Bank of Scotland Bonanza

Bank of ScotlandIt 's Bonanza time again with the next event taking place on August 30-31 at the sportscotland National Centre at Inverclyde in Largs.

And it really is a Bonanza for players with 2 full days of badminton to look forward to at what will be the 26th Bank of Scotland Bonanza.

Play on the Saturday will run from approximately 10am till 9pm, depending on size of entry, with the action on the Sunday starting at from 10am and continuing until close of play.

Entries are open to all players aged 18 and over who have not played at National level for their group during the last five years. Players are divided into pools, guaranteeing at least three games per person per event before the winners of each pool progress to a knockout tournament.  Singles, as well as level and mixed doubles matches will all be played over the weekend.

Entries cost £10 per person per event (£13 for unaffiliated players), or £25 for entry to all 3 events (£32 for unaffiliated players). There is also accommodation available on the Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a social evening, barbecue and karaoke on the Saturday night.

The closing date for entries is August 20 but players are urged to book early as entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
