Blair and Bankier go down in Indonesia quarters

Imogen BankierROBERT BLAIR and Imogen Bankier 's run at the Djarum Indonesian Open came to an end in the quarter-finals in Jakarta on Friday.

The Bank of Scotland Centenary International mixed doubles champions went down 21-14 21-17 to fourth seeds Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Juhl of Denmark.

Blair and Bankier, the seventh seeds, will now head for Bangkok for this week 's Thailand Open where they are seeded sixth. They face Albertus Susanto Njoto and Wai Chee Koon of Malaysia in Wednesday 's first round.

Bankier, the 20-year-old from Glasgow, and England 's Suzanne Rayappan face fifth seeds Jiang Yanmei and Li Yujia of Singapore in the women 's doubles first round.
