BADMINTONscotland is delighted to help set up the pilot phase of a new National Super Cell.  The cell will commence on Tuesday 24 June and run for 3 months until 16 September 2008 and will meet at the National Badminton Academy, Scotstoun. There will be 1 court available from 1900-2000hrs for warm ups and then the cell will take place on 2 courts from 2000-2200hrs.

BADMINTONscotland will cover the cost of courts and has given a small grant to allow this cell to commence. During the first three months it is hoped that a working group will be set up to manage the cell and attract income such as sponsorship.

The programme for the cell will be set by Ray Stevens who will be the Head Coach and regular attendance is expected. Invitations have been sent out and hopefully we will have a good response and can commence the cell as planned on 24 June, 2008.
