| Yonex badminton courses return to Inverclyde |

The Yonex Advanced Player Weekend is held from Friday 22 to Monday 25 August and is aimed at players with good club, county and tournament experience. The Yonex Badminton Club Player Week is aimed at lower level club players and league standard players and runs from Monday 25 to Friday 29 August. The courses provide a chance for players to have fun and meet new friends, whilst also learning and improving their badminton skills. Coaching will be provided by a host of current and former international badminton stars including including, among others, Dan Travers, Craig Robertson,

And following on from the Club Player Week, BADMINTONscotland are holding the first Bank of Scotland Badminton Bonanza of the new season on 30 & 31 August, the 26th such tournament to be held in Scotland since its original inception in April 2001. The tournament is aimed at club standard players and would be an ideal way for anyone taking part in the Club Player Week to finish their time at Inverclyde with a bit of fun & competition. The sportscotland National Centre, Inverclyde, will this year once again host their popular Yonex Badminton coaching courses and as usual there are 2 courses to choose from.
