Badminton Basic Modules

BADMINTONscotland have further developed our Introductory Badminton Basics Leadership Course. This course is comprised of 3 of our modules; Fun Games, Active Badminton 1 and 2.

Badminton Basics Info:

  • The award is aimed at coaches working with beginners in the sport.
  • Participants must be aged 14 or over on the date of the course.
  • Duration = 6 hours 
  • Cost is £50 per candidate (which includes tutor costs course materials certification and 3 yrs membership of Badminton Scotland).

We also have  number of modular courses available, which can be delivered independently or bolted together. These are: TOPS sport, Active Badminton 1, Active Badminton 2, Fun Games and Feeding. All are 2 hours in duration. Each module costs £18 per candidate which includes tutor costs and resources. An application to set-up one or a number of these modules is available here.

Please note that the modules above are not in themselves Coaching awards, although they can be used effectively to gain introductory skills or to supplement current coaching awards. They are very accessible as development opportunities for interested parties to become involved in Badminton. 

 

Teacher Inservice & Higher Modules

BADMINTONscotland also delivers the Badminton Basic modules and other packages as Teacher Inservice Modules relating to Higher Skills & Techniques, Structures and Strategies and general Teacher Inservice CPD. The costs of delivery vary and details can be provided on application. If you would like to apply for one of these modules the application forms are listed here:
