Calling all volunteers now is the chance to be involved courtside with the fastest racquet sport in the World. With the Bank of Scotland Centenary International Badminton Championships from 21 to 25 November 2007 in Glasgow now is the time to enrol as a Line Judge and be trained to the highest level to allow you to rub shoulders with the Worlds Best. This opportunity also enables you to gain certification and the opportunity to travel around the World.

Benefits Line Judges who participate regularly will receive

a) Courtside seating during the competition when not on duty
b) A line judge sweatshirt/polo shirt (where applicable)
c) Hospitality (meals &/or car parking)
d) Info on forthcoming National/International Events
e) Invitations to line judge at such events
f) Travelling expenses


The provision of these benefits generally lies outside the control of the BLJA. The actual provision of any and all such benefits will usually depend on the event organisers and/or the level of sponsorship available to them. However, the Association is committed, at all times, to seeking improvements to the benefits and conditions for Line Judges at all events.
