Sponsorship Summary Bank of Scotland has proudly sponsored BADMINTONscotland since 1999. In 2007, Bank of Scotland renewed the sponsorship for a further three years. The Bank's support has ensured sustained development of the game across
Bank of Scotland's support, both financial and resource, has helped BADMINTONscotland consistently deliver; the International Championships, National Junior Championships, Badminton Carnivals and Badminton Bonanzas. Since 1999, an estimated 100,000 children have been introduced to the sport. For season 2007-2008, two new programmes were added to the Bank's support for Badminton in
Developing talent The Bank's support has nurtured Scottish International talent, most recently, Gordon Thomson and Imogen Bankier. Both took part in Bank of Scotland junior championships during their school days and are now enjoying success on the international stage. Gordon is also a Bank of Scotland ambassador.
