Lothian Disability Badminton have a new club in Bathgate open to participants of all ages with learning or physical disabilities. The club began last night the 29th September and will run every Wednesday night from 6- 8pm.

Lyndon Williams Chairperson of the Scottish Disabiliy Badminton Working group said "The Lothian Disability badminton are delighted to be able to set up a new section at Bathgate Academy under top Scottish Coach Rita Gao. This section of the club will cater for all disabilities, physical and learning and we are looking for all ages and abilities. Badminton is a great sport, both competitive and social and the ethos of the club is to provide for both aspects"
