The European Senior Championships will be held from Monday 27 September to Saturday 2 October 2010 in Dundalk, Ireland.

All 5 events will be played in age groups ranging from 35+ to 65+. 

A player is eligible to compete provided they fulfil the age requirements on 1^st January of the year in which the Championships are played.

As per Badminton Europe regulations, in each age group we are restricted to being able to enter a maximum of 4 players in men’s singles, 4 players in ladies singles and a maximum of 8 players in each doubles event. If it so happens that the number of Scottish players/pairs interested in entering the tournament exceeds these restrictions, the decision on which players are entered will be made by the Veterans Selection Committee.

Entry fees are €40 per player for singles events and €50 per pair in doubles events. Each player will be responsible for paying their own entry fees.

Badminton Scotland will submit the entries to Badminton Europe but players will be responsible for making their own arrangements in terms of travel, accommodation etc. Further information regarding this can be found on the Badminton Europe website at http://esc.badmintoneurope.com/
