BADMINTONscotland are offering club officials, volunteers and players the chance to learn more about refereeing by staging a one-day course on Sunday, May 23 at the Cockburn Centre in Glasgow.

Badminton World Federation and Badminton Europe referee David Pegg will be the tutor at the course, which runs from 10am-5pm.

It is the first time BADMINTONscotland has offered a Level 1 Refereeing Course, which is designed for local and group level tournaments

David, who has refereed the Bank of Scotland International Championships, has delivered similar courses in England and Ireland and this offers a great chance to make the first step on the refereeing ladder. What's more it's free and a buffet lunch will be provided for participants.
