Well, BADMINTONscotland are searching for promising young players and will be holding a talent day for Under 12s on Saturday April 17 at Scotstoun Badminton Academy in Glasgow. The day is open to 7-12-year-olds and they are welcome to come along and show BADMINTONscotland's coaches what they can do. Coaches, teachers and parents who think they have identified young players with potential are invited to bring them along for assessment. The day is designed to be both stimulating and exciting. There will be an opportunity to meet BADMINTONscotland's coaching and development team and discuss participation pathways for young players. The objective is to identify a group of young players to form a Scottish Development Squad, which will meet regularly and provide a structured programme to enable the best young players to fulfil their potential and excel in the sport. Through this programme the aim is to produce world-class Elite players through a fun but focused structure. Please reserve your places on the Talent Day by April 1.
